Who is Jean-François Frappier ?

Jean-François Frappier is a photographer who has travelled since 2000 with a film camera and then from 2005 with digital cameras. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University (Montréal) in Film Studies (1989). Depicting the world like a film set, his pictures establishes sites and their characteristics. He photographs beauty that is more than ever threatened.

Use of AI and touch ups

1. AI is used only to "heal" details in photographs that blemish them : for example trash and sometimes wires. Jean-François Frappier does not "create" photographs using AI.
2. Touching up photographs :  filters are used only to clarify an image. They are not used to create an "effect". Jean-François Frappier will not saturate colors to an extent as to make the photographs "pop-art".
